Hours, Guidelines and Prices

We are a seasonal business:  We are open 7 days a week beginning Memorial Week End thru the first three weeks of August.  Then, again for Labor Day Week End.  The last few years the hours have been 9:00 to 4:00, with the last ride leaving about 4:15.  As before, if anybody wants to sign up for an 8:15 ride (sorry but enough people to wake up all the horses) I would really be glad to open at 8:00 for you before it gets hot!

We also try to open week-ends up to a month before Memorial and after Labor Day.  Although  again, it depends on when we start getting riders.

GUIDELINES:

• The minimum age to ride alone is six years.  Under certain conditions a two to five year old is allowed to ride with a petite adult (we call them 'carries').
  
• The maximum weight with one six foot or taller person in the saddle is 235 pounds.  For people less than six foot the weight limit decreases.  The maximum weight with an adult and a carry is much less.

Please understand these guidelines and the walk only rules are for your safety as well as the horse.  Our trail is beautiful!  It is not flat. 

COST:

• Daily Rides:  $25 per horse
  $10 additional per carry.
   
• Breakfast Rides:  $45.00 per horse
  Carries are not recommended  
  50% deposit required

• Dinner Rides:  $47.50 per horse
  Carries are not recommended  
  50% deposit required
